Dr Irena Sailer

Irena Sailer received her dental education and Dr. med. dent. degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tübingen, Germany in 1997/ 1998. In 2003 Dr. Sailer received an Assistant Professorship at the Clinic of Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics and Dental Material Sciences in Zurich. Since September 2013 she is the Head of the Division of Fixed Prosthodontics and Biomaterials at the University of Geneva. Irena Sailer is a Specialist for Prosthodontics (Swiss Society for Reconstructive Dentistry) and holds a specialization degree for Dental Implantology (WBA) of the Swiss Society for Dentistry.

Since 2009 she is an Adjunct Associate Professor at University of Pennsylvania, USA, and since 2019 an Honorary Professor at the University of Aarhus, Denmark.

Irene is the President of the EAED (European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry), a Member of the Executive Committee of the EAO (European Association for Osseointegration), and an Active Fellow of the GNYAP (Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics). She is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the SSRD (Swiss Society of Reconstructive Dentistry) and of the Swiss Leadership Team of the ITI (International Team for Implantology).

Since 2019 Irena Sailer is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Prosthodontics and a member of ICP.

Vincent Fehmer

Master Dental Technician (MDT), at the Clinic for Fixed Prosthodontics and Biomaterials, Center for Dental and Medicine, University of Geneva, Switzerland (Head: Prof. Dr. I. Sailer)

Vincent Fehmer received his dental technical education and degree in Stuttgart, Germany in 2002. From 2002 to 2003 he preformed fellowships in Great Britan and the US in Oral Design certified dental technical laboratories. From 2003 to 2009 he worked at an Oral Design certified laboratory in Berlin, Germany - The Dental Manufaktur Mehrhof. In 2009 he received the degree as a MDT in Germany. From 2009 to 2014 he was the chief dental technician at the Clinic for Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics in Zurich, Switzerland.

Since 2015 he is dental Technician at the Clinic for Fixed Prothodontics and Biomaterials in Geneva, Switzerland and runs his own laboratory in Lausanne Switzerland.

MDT Fehmer is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology, an Active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED), and a member of the Oral Design group, the European Association of Dental Technology (EADT) and German Society of Esthetic Dentistry (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ästhetische Zahnheilkunde, DGÄZ). He is active as speaker on a national and international Level.

Mr. Fehmer has received honors like the KENNETH RUDD AWARD from the American Prosthodontic Society. He has published more than 50 articles in peer reviewed journals within the field of fixed prothodontics and digital dental technology, contributed to book chapters and co-authored the book „Fixed Restorations“.

Also he serves as Editor in Chief of the QDT Yearbook, as Editor in Chief for the International Journal of Esthetic Dentistry and is a Section Editor for the International Journal of Prosthodontics.

Dr Sepehr Zarrine

Graduating in 2002, Dr Sepehr Zarrine is a Doctor of Dental Surgery specializing in maxillofacial surgical rehabilitation holding a European Master's in oral implantology.

He serves as an international speaker, President of ITI France, and is a Fellow at the International Team for Implantology. Dr Zarrine is the founder of Surgitech Studies, a renowned surgical school that emphasizes training implantologists in advanced and complex techniques.

In addition to being a lecturer at institutions in France, Dr Zarrine is a member of the ITI Zygomatic Consensus and collaborates with Prof Edmond Bedrossian and Prof Carlos Aparicio in the design of innovative zygomatic implants.

A prolific author, covering diverse topics such as immediate loading, bone grafts, new techniques, and advanced technologies in implantology, he has notably contributed to the zygomatic chapter in Edmond Bedrossian’s book "The Immediacy Concept" (Quintessence Publishing).

Specializing in implant surgeries and complex rehabilitations, Dr Zarrine's expertise extends to zygomatic implants, and he is notably recognized for performing Quad zygomatic surgeries under local anesthesia, setting him apart in the field.

Prof Lisa Heitz-Mayfield

BDS (Adel), MDSc (Lund), Odont Dr (Lund)

Professor Heitz-Mayfield received a Masters in Periodontology (1996) and Odont Dr (PhD) (1998) from Lund University, Sweden. Awarded a Brånemark Scholarship at the Brånemark Center, Malmo, Sweden. Awarded an ITI scholarship at the University of Berne, Switzerland where she became Head of the Oral Microbiology Research Laboratory, from 1999-2003. Received the André Schroeder Research Prize in Implant Dentistry. Chair of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) Research Committee, and member of the ITI Board of Directors from 2013 – 2021. In 2022, Prof Heitz-Mayfield was awarded an Honorary ITI Fellowship.

Current positions include Adjunct Professor at the International Research Collaborative, The University of Western Australia, Professor at The University of Sydney, and Guest Professor at the University of Berne and the University of Shanghai. Osteology Foundation board member. She is the Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Oral Implants Research. Scientific publications in the fields of periodontal regeneration and management of peri-implant diseases. As a specialist in periodontology Prof Heitz-Mayfield maintains a private practice limited to periodontology and implant surgery with an emphasis on regeneration, prevention and comprehensive treatment planning.

Tabitha Acret

Tabitha Acret is a dedicated and passionate award-winning Dental Hygienist. She studied a Bachelor of Oral Health at Newcastle University, completed a Graduate Certificate in Public Health and is currently a Clinical Master student at the University of Central London Eastman Campus.

Tabitha has become one of the most sought-after Hygienists and Educators in Australia and internationally with a fast-growing and loyal customer base of patients, dental professionals and media. Tabitha was previously the National Vice-President for the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia and has volunteered in many roles since graduation for the Association. She also has a passion for education with students, working as lecturer at Sydney University as well as a Clinical Educator for implant maintenance and non-surgical periodontal therapy. Currently, she also works two days a week in private practice.
